A medicare advantage plan is not a one-size-fits-all. There is a multitude of plans from various companies. We will assess your needs and find a plan that caters to you.
Original Medicare is great, however, there are many gaps in original medicare that you end up costing you or your family thousands of dollars.
Medicare advantage is very helpful, and there are many plans out there that have a 0 dollar premium. It has part A, B, and most of the time D combined into one plan so it's easy to keep track of it all. Most of the time it includes dental, vision and hearing. Possibility for extra benefits like an Over the Counter Card, Healthy Groceries card, Flex card, etc.
To find a comprehensive plan, you need to know your doctors, medications, and what coverage you need more or less of. Some doctors take specific plans, and you will want to know if your doctor accepts a specific plan before signing up. Or maybe you can find another doctor that accepts a particular plan that you like. A formulary is a list of medications that a company will cover, and if it is not covered by the companies there are a few ways around it like getting a formulary exception (but it is not guaranteed) or getting your doctor to prescribe a generic version or a similar type to the one prescribed. Various plans can give more of something if that is what is needed, for example, if you know you need comprehensive dental coverage then you should pick a plan that covers the procedures that you need and has a large benefit amount.

There are a few things that you need to know before you sign up for a medicare advantage plan. You may not have both a MA plan and a supplement plan. If a supplement plan is better suited for your needs, we can help you find a supplement plan as well.
A MA plan will replace your medicare part A and B, and most of the time part D. Medicare advantage plans often come in three types: HMO, PPO, and HMO-POS. An HMO means that you have to stay within a network of doctors to use the benefits of your plan. A PPO has a network as well, but you can also go out of network to providers that accept medicare but often times there will be a less expensive price if you stay in-network. An HMO-POS is like an HMO but more flexible. You, for the most part, need to stay in a network to reap the benefits, however, there will be some services that you can see an out of network doctor for, and there will be a different price point for those services for an out of network and an in-network doctor.
